about the founder

Jediah Moon is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist working across fashion design, film photography, and visual projects. Born to a Filipino immigrant mother and a U.S. military father, their existence began at the intersection of the American Dream and the fragmentation caused by U.S. imperialism. At the age of eight in the aftermath of 9/11, Jediah’s father was deployed to war for the first of many times, shaping their independence and self-reliance throughout their childhood. Combined with being raised in extreme religious and conservative structures that conflicted with their evolving identity, Jediah developed an awareness of alienation, performance, and survival. Through these lived experiences, they have found a deep appreciation for individuality and they demonstrate this in their art. Jediah’s creations function as a rally cry for a revolution. a revolution in human thinking, creation, and connection.
